Midsummer Night's Eve
The Hollywood Bowl
As a celebration of the beginning of summer and another beautiful night in Los Angeles we went to the Hollywood Bowl for the KCRW's world festival. The best part of concerts at the Bowl, other than the view, are the picnics. Trader Joe's must see an increase in sales on concert nights, because everyone there was enjoying similar plates of cheese and cold white wine. We packed up three cheeses, one french bread, pita chips, hummus, olives, and homemade bruscheta to keep us sustained through four equally amazing performances. You should check out all of these bands; Baaba Mall, Yeasayer, Tinariwen, and Fooly's Gold. Each was eclectic and enjoyable.
