Just when I thought I had written too much about the quality of Spanish life and food, it turns out I had to share one more thing. On my last night with my family we went to my cousin Saffron's end of the year school festival. All of the children perform for their parents and the whole community comes together for a big dinner. This is probably the best school food ever. There was gourmet salad, charcuteries, roasted red peppers, and Cava for every table. I think the grown ups may have even had more fun than the kids.
