Recently I have been opting for dinners with friends at home or a few favorite local spots, but the itch to try something new and opulent is creeping back. Its especially strong when I hear about incredible places like this brand new one in Beverly Hills, Scarpetta. A few of my friends went to the one in New York and couldn't stop raving about it. For example - Duck and Foie Gras Ravioli, yum.The only dilema I have with going, other than the obvious, is the fact I have completely ignored a few other classic fine Italian restauarnts in BH, always opting for the newer spots. I think before trying to make reservations at Scarpetta I will have to start across the street at Spago.
