Waiting rooms are great for two things- plenty of time and piles of old magazines. I took advantage of these perks while I was visiting family at the hospital by cutting out ads for a collage, like the one I made last year. The top image was inspired by a champagne ad, shown to the left. I love the way it turned out. Both of these are only 5x7, my next step is to try putting similar images on larger canvas and painting around it.
