Porto Cervo

We were greeted in Sardinia with some windy weather, and made the most of it by making a stop at the famous Porto Cervo. Known for being home to the Prime Minister of Italy's over the top summer escape. This is must be the town many developers try to mimic. It's filled with the richest Italians around, or at least they look like they are. Each individual but complimentary piazza holds a sprinkling of the top designer stores and chic outdoor restaurants. The mega yachts line up in a neat row, while smaller ones fit cozily in the small inlet. You cross the inlet over a walking bridge that can get quite crowded during peak hours as it's also a great photo opp.

We had a nice dinner at Pomodoro, recommended by the mariniero (a person that helps boats in the marina), but looking forward to trying the marina restaurant next time which had the best views and surprisingly similar prices.
